- How much installation space is available?
- How close will the generator be to the applicator?
- Air or water cooling?
- What cooling-water capacity is available?
- What line voltage is available?
- What electrical service is available at the installation?
- What waveguide size is required?
- Is there an existing waveguide system?
- Are isolators, circulators, tuners, loads, or directional couplers required?
- Local or remote control?
- Analog, digital, or PLC interface?
- Is forward and reflected power monitoring required?
- Is this a new system or a replacement generator?
- Does the generator need to interface with existing equipment?
- Are there dimensional or mechanical restrictions?
- What ambient conditions will the generator experience?
- Is continuous operation required?
- Are there special environmental or regulatory requirements?
